OFC Technical Director visit Cooks

Oceania Football’s Technical Director Patrick Jacquemet and Just Play Program Coordinator Colin Tuaa are currently in the Cook Islands for a two day workshop to work with CIFA’s President and CIFA’s Technical department on CIFA’s 4-year Technical Plan.

OFC Technical and Just Play Program workshop with CIFA

In the two day workshop discussions around targets for CIFA’s technical department (coaching) to reach within the next four years and CIFA’s competitions which includes the men’s, women’s, youth and grassroots programs. It was outlined for CIFA’s Technical department to come up with plans in regards on how to maintain the interest from the grassroots level to grow up with football.

Colin Tuaa also mentioned that OFC’s Just Play Program will be launched in the Cook Islands next year.

Also during the workshop Patrick and Colin presented to CIFA’s Technical department the new Programs from Oceania Football Confederation that will be implemented within the Oceania region.

CIFA President Lee Harmon says, "that the association is so grateful that Oceania Football Confederation has sent Technical Director Patrick Jacquemet to discuss and simplify technical issues with CIFA’s Technical department".

"CIFA would also like to acknowledge the presence of Colin Tuaa who is here to commence discussions on how to implement the Just Play Program with CIFA and the Ministry of Education".
