The Rarotonga football round cup competition gets back underway today, Monday 16thSeptember 2019, with the round two U17 men’s catch up matches. The matches will be held at the CIFA Complex and will kick off at 4:45pm.
Nikao Sokattak is set to play Titikaveka on CIFA Field 1, Matavera will go head to head with Tupapa Maraerenga on CIFA Field 2 while Avatiu face off with Puaikura at the Takitumu School grounds.
The break has given teams the opportunity to work on many aspects of the game and build on past success and areas of improvement. For these clubs it has been a long break, a break that could see teams rise or fall.
With teams itching to get back out on the pitch, tomorrow’s matches will feature some exciting football action to resume the season after a 3-week break. The public is welcome to go down to the CIFA complex and the Takitumu school field and enjoy an afternoon of football.
