Avatiu and Puaikura will face off in yet another midweek match up this week.
Kicking off at 5pm today at the CIFA complex in Matavera will be the Avatiu and Puaikura senior women. In their last match against each other, Avatiu came away with a narrow win over Puaikura stealing the second spot on the ladder off them.
Today Puaikura will head out to turn their last result around and take back the second spot from Avatiu while Avatiu on the other hand aim to keep the scores at bay and come out with a win to remain in the second spot behind Tupapa.
After a close encounter last week, the Puaikura premier men will be looking to put their game tomorrow away and behind them. Today will be about setting their season on the right track and showing improvement compared to recent matches.
For the Avatiu premier men, a win would serve as a massive booster as the team still hunt their first win of the season. They will look to capitalize on Puaikura’s recent form and will aim to put all their chances away to have a shot at taking the win. A win for the team will give them a chance to make tracks up the table.
