Nikao Sokattak and Avatiu will go head to head when they meet in this week’s midweek match up to be played today and tomorrow.
The Avatiu and Nikao senior women have a tough battle ahead following great recent performances from both sides. In previous encounters their matches have been a close contest with Avatiu bagging a 1-0 win and the other being a 1-all draw. Nikao and Avatiu sit adjacent to each other on the points table and either team will be aiming to move further up the ladder from where they sit and will come out seeking a win in today’s match at 5pm.
The Nikao premier men on the other hand have some catching up to do after losing their lead on the ladder to Tupapa last weekend. They will have to win all their matches ahead convincingly to have a chance at stealing it back from Tupapa. Nikao come out tomorrow to put Avatiu away to keep their hopes alive at a round cup championship title.
Their opponents, Avatiu, will also be seeking a win to make progress on the table as well after an unfavourable result last week left them at the bottom of the table. Avatiu will be aiming to upset Nikao tomorrow and will come out fighting for a win.
