Kia Orana Youth Football Festival was launched in 2017. With a successful launch, the Cook Islands Football Association (CIFA) announced that the Youth Football Festival will be held every two years.

The festival was originally organized to cater young football players, in both the Under 16 Boys and Girls. The festival was set to be an opportunity for youth to compete against their peers, gain more experience in matches and develop more excitement surrounding football in the Cook Islands while creating lifelong memories.

With a successful launch in 2017, followed by another successful festival in 2019, a decision was made to expand the 2021 festival and cater to the Under 15’s Boys and Girls, along with the Under 18’s teams in both Women and Men’s. The fourth edition to the Kia Orana Youth Football Festival was hosted once again by CIFA in 2023. The festival saw close to 450 participants involved with the festival, bringing excitement to Cook Islands Football.

The fifth edition of the festival will be held in 2025. With the aim to develop youth in Football Cook Islands, it is important to CIFA that this festival continues.

Festival Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the winners and runners up in both the Boys and Girls category.

Match Coordination Meeting
All team coaches and managers are required to attend the mandatory tournament technical meeting. The meeting will take place at the CIFA conference room with the date and time will be advised in due course.
