Amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic, CIFA is ecstatic to announce that on Wednesday the 12th of August 2020, Rarotonga will have their popular Grassroots Program played at the CIFA Complex in Matavera. With everything that has happened in this year you can definitely expect the youngsters to be on fire, as for some this will be their first taste of extra curricular activities since March 2020. So come on down and get your lawn chairs ready to support the young superstars as they kick off the season.
Following the Grassroots program, the other divisions will be playing at their respective host venues on Thursday the 13th and Friday the 14th of August. On Saturday the 15th of August all other clubs will be playing at 2 venues across Rarotonga. In anticipation of the beginning of these matches players have begun to dust off their boots to prepare for the approaching season. All teams will be extremely eager to hit the football pitch and it will not be a week that you would want to miss.
With only a few more months to go, clubs have begun their preparations for the upcoming season so you can expect many intense matches to be played when the season starts.
