PRESSURE BUILDS AS FINAL ROUNDS APPROACH

With only a few rounds remaining, the race for the round cup championship title intensifies and pressure builds up.

Today the Junior teams will fill the CIFA complex with lots of fun football action and excitement as they kick off round 12 at 4:15pm. This week Matavera-Ngatangiia will play Tupapa Maraerenga, Puaikura faces off with Avatiu and Nikao Sokattak will go up against Titikaveka.

Following the juniors will be the electrifying U17 mens at 4:45pm with Matavera-Ngatangiia and Tupapa Maraerenga playing on CIFA field 2, Puaikura playing Avatiu on CIFA field 1 and Nikao Sokattak on bye.

The gap between the top three in the U17 mens division is narrow and neither Nikao, Puaikura or Tupapa can afford to lose points. All three sides will be getting serious and will be aiming to come away victorious in all their matches to come.

Meanwhile Avatiu recently picked up their first win of the season in the U17 mens division and have gained a much-needed confidence boost. However, they have a tough challenge today as they go up against division leaders Puaikura. Avatiu will be coming out to win but so will Puaikura and so they will need to muster their best performance to have a good shot at coming away with a win.
