WOMENS CLASH OF CHAMPIONS
Last year’s Women’s Knock-out Cup champions Titikaveka will host 2018 Women’s Round Cup champions Tupapa Maraerenga today in their first game of the season which will be held at Teimurimotia park at 5pm giving Titikaveka the home advantage. The battle of the giants will be an epic start to the season and a tense start to the season for the two teams. Winning this will be vital for both clubs as each team will want to start their season on a high.
Meanwhile in the Premier men’s division which will kick off tomorrow at 5pm, Titikaveka has been the cause of some big upsets in previous seasons. If they kick off the season denying 2018 champions Tupapa a win, their confidence levels heading into the season will receive a significant boost which could set in motion a winning trend for Titikaveka. A win will also send a message to other clubs to watch out for the unpredictable Titikaveka men’s team.
Playing today before the Senior women will be the U14 Boys at 4pm and before the Premier Men’s tomorrow at 4pm will be U14 Girls.
