Youth Footballers battle for semis spot

Teams were given yet another beautiful day of football on Monday, as the sun came out to dry fields from the heavy rain from Sunday. Supporters came out wearing their colours and carrying loud voices to cheer on their players, who shocked the crowd with hidden talents and hard defense.

Bringing along with them, their whole support team, the island of Aitutaki had a clean sweep with their games at the CIFA Complex on Monday. It was not an easy take, as their opponents tightened their defensive side and contested for the ball till the very end.

With all that commotion happening down at CIFA, our other two fields had our Rarotonga based teams come out with mostly wins throughout the day.

Today our teams will rest and discuss in preparation for tomorrows semi-finals where the successful teams from yesterdays final pool matches will play at CIFA Complex, to see who will continue to our finals on Saturday 8th May.

Everyone come on down to CIFA tomorrow, wear your team shirts, bring your loud cheering voices, so you don’t miss semi-final battles like no other.
