Cook Islands Set for Historic FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan

The Cook Islands U-15 Boys National Development Team is preparing for an exciting international experience at the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival 2026, to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 22 to 31 October 2026.

The event marks a historic milestone for world football as FIFA launches its first-ever international youth competition dedicated exclusively to under-15 players, with a girls’ edition set to follow in 2027. Open to boys’ teams from all 211 FIFA Member Associations, the festival will bring together young footballers from every corner of the globe to compete, learn, and celebrate the game.

For the Cook Islands, participation represents a proud moment for football development.
