Uini and Vidovi Represent Cook Islands at OFC Goalkeepers C-Licence Course

Cook Islands Football Association representatives Kimberly Uini and Luke Vidovi have completed the OFC Goalkeepers C-Licence Course, held on home soil in Rarotonga last month.

The week-long course brought together goalkeeper coaches and participants from across the Oceania region, including Tonga, New Zealand, American Samoa, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Tahiti, providing a valuable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Delivered by Christopher Marsh and supported by fellow OFC instructors Tyler Logan, Trent Hirst, Tracy Cunnington, Benoit Milin, and Noramsyar Kamaruddin, the programme combined classroom-based learning with practical on-field sessions. Participants explored key aspects of modern goalkeeper coaching, including technical development, training design, player analysis, and best practice methodologies.

For Kimberly and Luke, the course provided an excellent platform to further develop their coaching knowledge and strengthen the growth of goalkeeper development within the Cook Islands.

The Cook Islands Football Association congratulates both representatives on their commitment to learning and professional development. Their successful completion of the OFC Goalkeepers C-Licence Course is a reflection of their dedication to the game and their desire to continue raising the standard of goalkeeper coaching throughout the country.

Well done to Kimberly Uini and Luke Vidovi on this outstanding achievement and for proudly representing the Cook Islands on the regional stage.
