Partners boost National Champs

The Partners were hosted by Cook Islands Football to a luncheon at the Tamarind House yesterday afternoon.
The National Championship set to take place from 16-23 April and will provide a football action packed week for young players to showcase their footwork on the pitch and challenge for the title.
The sponsorship will drive the development of Football and will assist this event which is held every two years.
In two weeks time, hundreds of young people from the Southern Cook Islands, Atiu, Aitutaki, Mitiaro, Mauke and Mangaia including the three Vaka’s on Rarotonga, Te Au O Tonga, Takitumu and Puaikura will come together to the CIFA complex in Matavera for the 5th CIFA Under 15 Boys/Under 16 Girls National Championship.
CIFA President, Lee Harmon says, “The assistance of these four partners will boost the event in terms of organization costs and publicity”.
“Cook Islands Football is delighted that these four companies have come on board to partner CIFA with this Youth event”.
The partnership will see Air Rarotonga, CITC Coca Cola, Sava and Budget as the principal partners of CIFA’s Youth Championship for 2011.
