Cook’s progress to semi’s

The Cook’s dominated the game but found it difficult to score until the 83rd minute when Dayna Napa latched on to a through ball and went around the Vanuatu goalkeeper and tapped the ball into the net.
In the 89th minute Mama Henry blasted the ball into the top right-hand corner from close range to seal the match two goals to nil and secure their place in the semi-final stage of the tournament.
Our women’s team will now play the winner of Pool B Papua New Guinea tomorrow at 4:30pm Cook Island Time.
Team is reported to be in good spirit and would like to thank all those who have sent messages of encouragement.
