Five-a-side kicks off today

The competition will run for over ten weeks and will wrap up with the knock out at the end of May.
Teams who will contest in the five-a-side soccer competition look forward to the matches today as they battle for the 2011 5-a-side Round and Knock-out Cup.
Last year’s Round Robin champs, Black Puta have returned again this year to defend their title along with seven other teams in the men’s division. Those who have put up a challenge for both titles with Black Puta are Who Cares, All Stars, Maro Bhago, The Rock, Avatiu No Girls, Virgin Ave and Warriors.
In the women’s division six teams have registered their interest in participating in this year’s five a side comp, White Fairies, Black Qwenz, Tic Taks, F.O.B, Avatiu No Boys and Zconi Rebels.
This competition will be vital for all players looking to be part of the Pacific Games Soccer Squad in both the men’s and women’s team, as they use the competition as preparations and to sharpen their football skills for the games.
