Puaikura set for OFC Preliminary Champion’s League

Football Federation Samoa (FFS) is poised to host the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) tournament that will give smaller Pacific nations an opportunity to qualify for the OFC Champion’s League, which has traditionally included only the heavyweights of Oceania.
The Puaikura Football club is coached by Tuka Tisam.
“Our main objective is to win and qualify for the Final in Fiji April 2015 and enjoy the experience of the tournament as the team is very young” said Tisam.
“The team is aware that this tournament is going to be tough and we will focus on one match at a time” continued Tisam.
Puaikura will go head to head against the top clubs from Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa.
“We are really excited as this is the first time in history that we have made it this far in the tournament. The boys are excited, hyped up and pumped. We are looking forward to the tournament. We have some players like Stu Kelly who have the experience and we will lean on to guide our team during the competition” states Tisam.
The winner of the preliminary tournament qualifies for the OFC Champions’ League group stage scheduled for Fiji in April 2015.
