Must-win match for both TKV and Titikaveka

The Van’s Premier men’s clash between Takuvaine and Titikaveka today is a must-win for both teams as they battle it out for an improved sitting on the table.

Hosts Titikaveka have not had the smoothest of rides this year and the side will head into this afternoon’s game against Takuvaine sitting seventh on the table.

The Billy Foster-coached team can move from the bottom of the standings with a victory against the Reds – a result that would leave Takuvaine fighting to stay close to the top.

It’s all or nothing for the Afato Ioane side who will need to be on their best form for today’s crucial match.

The stakes are high for Takuvaine and a win could potentially see them retain their second sitting on the table.

But it’s going to be a tough game for both teams and each will be determined to come out with the victory.

Titikaveka have been known to cause upsets for some of the top teams in the competition and Takuvaine will be foolish to underestimate their opponents ahead of their match today.

This game is scheduled to kick off at 5pm in Titikaveka following the BSP Under-14 girls match.
