Tokoroa High School U16 Girls Tour

The Under 16 side arrived on our shores over the weekend and is led and coached by school teacher and former Cook Islands national Player Dean Tereu.
Tereu is excited to share his heritage and culture with his team who will be on the island for a whole week. They will also get the opportunity to play two football games against an U16 Rarotonga selection side at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.
Their first match will be played today kicking off at 4:30pm. Another match will follow on Thursday evening.
This is the first time Tokoroa High School has brought over a team for a football and cultural experience and one the Cook Islands Football Association is excited about.
“We are pleased to be hosting the Tokoroa High school team and hope that they have an enriching football experience here on the island,” said CIFA general secretary, Mii Piri.
“I would like for us to have a thriving relationship with the school and have them visit us again.”
