The main matches today will take place between Arorangi and the undefeated Avarua team in the girl’s division and Avatea will show down with Te Uki Ou/Imanuela in the boy’s category at 3.20pm.
Te Uki Ou/Imanuela have demonstrated that they are willing to play and win this game after however Avatea may have different ideas about it but the clash today will see who will conquer and take the honors in the boy’s division for 2012 Senior Primary School Tournament.

The Avarua girl’s team have shown and proven their dominance for the third year now and their clash against under dogs Arorangi will no doubt seal the deal for their school. However Arorangi has also shown resilience throughout the tournament and today’s game may just show that.
Avatea and Nikao may only be fighting for third place but this is likely to be a competitive match in the girl’s division. After a close encounter against Avarua last Wednesday, Avatea is no doubt looking to bag this game.
Also playing for third place in the boy’s category are school teams Avarua and Arorangi. Arorangi couldn’t put down Avatea in their semi final showdown losing their game by four answered goals scored against them.
Other play-offs matches that will be played today in the girl’s category will see Nukutere take on Titikaveka for fifth placing while Nikao will go head to head with Papaaroa in the boy’s division. Playing for seventh placing will be between Nukutere and Titikaveka.
Last Wednesday’s semi final main game saw Avarua head into their match against Te Uki Ou/Imanuela with confidence and scoring the only goal in the first half and take the lead at half time. However an amped up Te Uki Ou/Imanuela side came back and leveled the goals with one goal each. Both sides tried to score another goal to win the match but both defenses denied the opportunity for the strikers to score. It looked like the match was going into a penalty shoot-out when Te Uki Ou/Imanuela dominated the game and scored two goals and to take the win over Avarua by three goals to one.
