Tupapa dominated all facets of play scoring three goals to nil in the first half with a hat trick by Campbell Best .
Takuvaine played valiantly in the second half but could not hold back a fired up Tupapa that kept its pace and scored an additional three goals by Campbell Best.
The match ended with Tupapa winning with a full time score of six goals to nil.

In the Islander Hotel Senior Women’s matches on Saturday, Takuvaine went down to Tupapa Maraerenga two goals to nil and Titikaveka and Avatiu drew two all. Thursday’s Islander Hotel Senior Women’s match, Puaikura Football Club defeated Matavera Football Club three goals to nil.
