Tupapa Women claim top honors

Tupapa claimed the 2011 Rarotonga Football Round Cup ahead of Arorangi by three points after thirteen games were played.
Players and coach, Sandy Pomat assembled at the CIPS Image & Copy Centre office to receive their trophy from proprietor Colin Burns.
Burns expressed his delight and saying that he is most impressed at the Tupapa senior women’s team for their achievement this year.
“We are proud to sponsor this sporting activity this year. We are delighted and proud at the performances from not only this year’s winner, Tupapa but from all the clubs here on Rarotonga and we hope to do the same next season,” says Burns.
Much to excitement of coach, Sandy Pomat, he conveyed his congratulations to the players and gratitude to proprietor Colin Burns for sponsoring the women’s football competition.
“I am extremely proud of these young ladies of their success and it is my hope that they continue to develop themselves in football so the younger players will see their achievements,” says Pomat.
“I would also like to thank CIPS Image & Copy Centre for the sponsorship of the women’s round cup trophy and to see them again supporting women’s football next season,” he says.
