Village Festival to Promote Inclusion

The monthly community initiative will resume with key social messages focusing on inclusion and care & protection to be delivered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The children can also expect a variety of different sporting activities including rugby, badminton, athletics, cricket and football.
Project manager Michelle Paiti and her team are excited to host the festival in Arorangi with the hope to get good numbers this time around.
“The last festival we ran at this venue we had just over 30 children come and enjoy the activities,” she says.
“We hope that we can increase the number of children participating this week.”
The festival is set to kick off at 2:30pm and will finish at 3:30pm. Children ages 5-13 years of age are all welcome.
Parents are being encourage to organise their children to attend the festival tomorrow.
Just Play is a sport for development programme supported by Australian Aid, New Zealand Aid, FFA, the UEFA Foundation for Children and UNICEF.
