CIFA Technical Team Strengthens Club Support with New Team Kit Bags

The Cook Islands Football Association (CIFA) Technical Team has continued its commitment to supporting local clubs, completing and preparing a dedicated kit bag for every team across each club participating in the 2026 season.

The initiative aims to provide clubs and coaches with the essential equipment and resources they need throughout the football season, helping make the day-to-day running of teams easier and more organised.

Each kit bag has been filled with a range of equipment suitable for both junior and senior teams, including cones, whistles, bibs, ice packs, first aid kits, resistance bands, tape, rollers, electrolytes, goalkeeper gloves and size 12 goalkeeper shirts.

Over the past six weeks, CIFA has also distributed 250 footballs and 90 drink bottles to clubs across Rarotonga, providing further support for players and coaches at all levels.

CIFA hopes these resources will make a positive difference for clubs and contribute to creating better training and playing environments for players throughout the season.

CIFA Technical Director Matt Campbell said the Association remains committed to supporting its clubs wherever possible and encouraged clubs to reach out with any questions or additional support they may require.

The initiative has been made possible through the continued support of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC)and its Football Development Grants, which continue to provide valuable opportunities for football development across the Cook Islands.

CIFA extends its appreciation to OFC for its ongoing support and looks forward to continuing to strengthen the resources available to clubs and players across the country.
