The OFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2019 will take place between 30 August and 12 September this year on Rarotonga. Drawn into Group A, our Cook Islands U19 women will face the Solomon Islands, Fiji and Vanuatu, while in Group B defending champions New Zealand will compete against American Samoa, Samoa and Tahiti.

Group C will consist of Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and Tonga.

CIFA Competition manager, Pauline Dean say’s “We are looking forward to hosting this tournament as it is our first time hosting the U19 Women’s. 11 Teams from around the Pacific will be participating so it is also a big tournament for us.”

The U19 Women’s squad has been preparing for this tournament for some time, and the recently ended Kia Orana youth football festival has helped to put together a much more talented training squad for this upcoming tournament. The focus now shifts to harnessing their talent to prepare themselves for the challenge ahead.
