Knockout finals set to kick off

JUST 24 minutes and a potential penalty shoot-out separate Takuvaine and Titikaveka from taking out the Under-8 mixed division in the 2016 CIFA Knockout Finals competition tomorrow.

Round Cup champions Titikaveka will face the Reds at 4pm at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.

Titikaveka has dominated the U8 grade this season and will be the side to watch out for as they bring form and skills to the game.

The team’s progress to the final has been spectacular with an almost unbeaten run all season, having only lost one match in the second round.

Against Takuvaine tomorrow, it is expected to be an entertaining match-up as the boys from the Happy Valley also bring class to the game with their consistent and outstanding performance throughout the season.

Titikaveka won both matches when the two met this year, however, only just with Takuvaine proving to be tough opponents.

As young and vibrant as these teams are, Titikaveka and Takuvaine have proven they are no rookies when it comes to the beautiful game.

This match will be a showpiece event raising the curtains for a thrilling Knockout finals competition this weekend.
