TUPAPA MARAERENGA CRASH IN SECOND HALF

Tupapa captain Mii JOSEPH headers the ball forward for a Tupapa counter

Tupapa Maraerenga’s Champion League campaign went from bad to worse against nine times Oceania club champions, Auckland City FC. Tupapa Maraerenga came out strong in the first half limiting the damage to only three goals scored against them. Their second-half efforts, however, went un-noticed with ACFC finding the back of the net twelve more times to bring the score to 15-0. Last year’s results against other champions clubs from New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu were a lot more respectable than this year’s results.

Their last and final match is against AS Magenta of New Caledonia who defeated Solomon Warriors with a scoreline of 3-0. The game will kick-off at 4 pm on Friday 1st March.
